I stayed with Stefie and Georges from March to August 2024. I will never thank them enough for their daily kindness and the small services they have provided me. The common areas (bathroom, kitchen and terrace) were always clean. I was able to meet people and create new friendships with other roommates during this semester. Being with Stefie and Georges was very reassuring for me: knowing that I was not alone in an accommodation and they knew how to be discreet but always there when needed. I recommend this accommodation with my eyes closed for a long or short stay! A Lidl is 5 minutes away on foot and 10 minutes to the university campus.

Medical elective student from Germany
I can recommend Looza Residence to all students doing a Medical Elective in Mater Dei Hospital in Malta. You will not only practice your English and be well looked after, but also you will also live right around the corner from the hospital. The student accommodation is located in San Gwann within 5 minutes walking distance from the hospital which is an advantage that can not be underestimated in a country with a quite Mediterranean public transport system. Riding a bike in Malta is unfortunately too dangerous on the roads here. The Maltese evening with rabbit cooked Maltese style was one of the highlights of our trip and we certainly know where to go to get some nice Maltese wines! I stayed at the Looza Student Residence for 8 weeks and I can say it was a great stay! From the very beginning, Stefie made sure everything was perfect with the bedroom, the kitchen, etc… The terrace is also lovely when it’s sunny outside, you can have a beer, sit down and just relax. There is nothing more to say except that I enjoyed so much my time at Looza with the Meekers and that this family is great and very helpful. For those 8 weeks, I felt at home. So if you go to the sunny island of Malta, make sure you stay at Looza! Thanks again for everything Stefie!!
Guest renting a room on self-catering basis
I had a great stay here, Stefie is very friendly and most helpful. I was made to feel very comfortable straight away. The sun terrace gets the sun throughout the day until the early evening and the refurbished kitchen has all the basics you need to cook with a gas hob, microwave, crisper etc. Imsida is about 10-15 min walk, but there is a Lidl supermarket 5-10mins walk away together with a few other shops and eateries and bus stops to sliema / Valletta are also a short walk away. The property is spotless and is in a nice and quiet area. There is very little traffic as it is away from the main roads. My room had Air con and the overall cost per night was a fair bit less than estimated. Safe to say I would definitely stay here again !
